Frequently Asked Questions
What is the process of creating my unique photo card?
1. Choose your favorite photo card you would like to customize.
2. Fill out and submit the on-line order form and email us your photo(s).
3. Your design will be created based upon your order form and picture(s)
4. You will receive a confirmation via email stating that we received your order. You should receive this confirmation immediately following your purchase (but it could possibly take up to one (1) day).
5. Within three (3) business days you will receive a proof of your photo card. If
you would rather receive your proof via fax, please make certain to
include in your Special Request section on the order form that you
would like to receive your proof via fax along with your fax number.
6. Once you have received your proof – you will let us know of your approval or if any corrections are to be. We do have to have your approval via email or signature via fax. If
you "DO NOT" receive confirmation via email that we did receive your
approval within one (1) business day, please contact us immediately. This approval of the proof process is required and there is no additional charge for this service. Your order will not be printed until we receive your signature or authorization via email or on the approved proof. We are not responsible for orders not processed because we did not receive your approval.
7. Once
we receive your confirmation that you have approved the proof, we will
print your order and then ship it out within two (2) business days. |
What do I need to know regarding the "Font Selection, Wording & Pictures?
Font Selection, Wording & Pictures: The size of the font will be adjusted according to the space available on the card you have selected and the amount of wording you have requested. Unless mentioned at the time of the order, we will use our artistic judgment in the font size, boldness, spacing, centering, line layout, capitalization, arrangement or punctuation used on the printing of your card. You have the option of changing the font before you approve your proof - we do not recommend changing the font from the original sample in the gallery. Also, the picture placement: depending on the number of pictures you have chosen, the photo card design could change from the original design. Even when inserting one photo into the photo card the size will not be exactly the same as the original due to the resizing and making the picture look natural when placing it into the photo card.
Is there a set up fee?
No. There is absolutely no fee to set up your first photo card creation per order; however, if you request two designs there is a $10.00 design fee for the second photo card creation.
What type of paper will my photo cards be printed on?
Your photo cards will be professionally printed on either Fuji or Kodak matte finish paper.
Can I use my pictures that a professional photographer took?
Absolutely yes, but ONLY if the photographer has agreed to allow you to use the pictures. We require you to provide us with a signed Photo Release Form from your photographer. Your photographer can either fax me the signed form or authorize it via email. If you do not provide us with a Photo Release Form then you are confirming that you or someone other than a photographer took the picture(s) that you are including in your photo card. If you have a studio image, for examples: school portraits, sports photos, cruise portraits, etc.) that does not indicate who created the pictures/portraits/work and you are not aware who created the work you may be able to claim that the work you are requesting is for "fair use," and that you are unaware, or are unable to contact the photographer.
Copyright Indemnification: Purchaser agrees to hold harmless Photo Card Creations by Terri for any and all costs, expenses that may or may have occurred, attorney's fees and/or judgments resulting from claims or lawsuit made against Photo Card Creations by Terri for any reasons claiming that the work produced violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.
Is there a charge for receiving a proof?
No. We want to make certain your photo card is as perfect as can be! You will receive up to two (2) proofs per order free of charge!
Am I able to place an order and have it shipped to another location other than my billing address?
Yes. When ordering 20 or more photo cards, you still will receive complimentary shipping as long as the order is being shipped within the Continental United States!
What will my shipping fee be if my order is being shipped within the Continental United States?
$0, Nada, Nothing - Shipping is complimentary to you from us as long as you have ordered twenty (20) or more photo cards and your shipping is within the Continental United States! Photo Card Creations by Terri cannot be held responsible for delayed, lost or mis-routed mail.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Please note there is an additional shipping fee for international shipping - please contact us to find out an approximate shipping fee. All of our international orders are shipped USPS Global Priority mail or Global Express mail shipping. Global Priority is an ESTIMATED 7-10 day delivery but may take 4 weeks to arrive and cannot be tracked or insured. Global Express is an ESTIMATED 3-5 day delivery and does include a tracking number and can be insured. It may require a signature upon delivery. Photo Card Creations by Terri cannot be held responsible for delayed, lost or mis-routed international mail.
PLEASE NOTE: Custom duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient, even if the item is being shipped to someone other than the purchaser. Photo Card Creations by Terri is required by Federal law to fill out a Customs Declaration with ALL International packages we ship. We will not declare shipments as "GIFTS" or declare the value below the purchased price. We will not be held responsible for items not delivered due to failure of the recipient to pay the necessary duties and taxes.

What will my postage fee be?
Square envelopes - $0.58 per square envelope with only one photo card inside it. (That is an additional $0.17 postage fee per square envelope)
Larger envelopes for the 8x6 photo cards - $0.41 per envelope with only one photo card inside it.
What is your Return Policy?
Other than stated below, there are NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
Please make certain to take the time to proofread the proof we e-mail you, carefully. Unfortunately, there are occasions when errors occur. If the product you receive has a printing error that was caused by our printing process, (not an error that was approved by you via your proof) we will happily replace your order at no charge -your order will be reprinted and shipped out within 2 business days. Your replacement order will be shipped to you using the same method as your original order. ( i.e. If you requested US Priority mail, the reprint will be shipped by US Priority mail.) You can upgrade the shipping at an additional cost. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for any errors found after you approve your proof. If the product you receive has a printing error that was not caught when you approved your text proof, we offer a 10% discount on any order that needs to be reprinted. No refunds will be given on orders once they are printed and/or shipped.
What is your Privacy Policy?
Your privacy is very important to us! Photo Card Creations by Terri is committed to protecting your privacy and to protecting the confidential nature of all information we collect from our customers. It is necessary for us to collect personal information in order to process and ship your order. The information you provide to us is kept confidential and is used only to create your order, process and fill your order, and ship your order to you. We absolutely DO NOT provide or sell your information to any outside agency, person, or company for any reason whatsoever! Our website is encrypted using the highest possible technology and is processed through a secured server. All personal information and credit card information is kept absolutely confidential and is used strictly to process your order. Photo Card Creations by Terri reserves the right to change or modify these terms without any prior notice.
